Stephen Graham Joins VENOM 2
Andy Serkis’ Venom 2 starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady / Carnage is currently filming and may very well get an R-rated cut.
And today we’ve learned via Deadline that the sequel is all set to co-star Boardwalk Empire and The Irishman actor Stephen Graham. Graham’s role is being kept under wraps but we will make sure to pass along updates as we hear them.
Graham joins the above-mentioned cast of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady / Carnage with Michelle Williams as Eddie’s ex-fiancée Anne Weying, Reid Scott as Anne’s boyfriend Dan Lewis, and Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison / Shriek.
Venom 2 will be directed by Andy Serkis (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle) and produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey) based on the character created by David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane.
Venom 2 is scheduled for release in the United States on October 2, 2020.
