Teaser & Images from New Issue of Creepy/Atmospheric Graphic Novel SIX IN THE MOURNING

Six in the Mourning is a supernatural story of six friends who embark on a road trip to deal with a shared loss.  If you dare, you can share in their trip at www.sixinthemourning.com. Unable to deal with the darkness growing inside of him after the death of his sister, Dawn, Alek hits the road to be alone.  Fearing for his safety, and possibly the well-being of others, his girlfriend Lynn, along with friends Nick and Darren set out to find him.    Ben and Christine, an on again/off again couple, also follow hoping this trip will help bring a sense of closure to their lives. 

On the road to help Alek, the friends encounter a sudden detour when they are attacked by dark beings in suits and masks.  No reason is given for their assault. Who are these silent creatures? What do they want with this group of twentysomethings? And what does all of this have to do with the death of one young girl?

Dawn is dead, and for her brother and five friends – that pain of loss is only the beginning…

Six In The Mourning is a graphic novel serialized in seven issues.  You can read the first three issues for free for a limited time at www.sixinthemourning.com.  The fourth issue is being updated twice per week. 

Set in the Fall of the late 90s/early 2000s this project is Infused with a creepy off-kilter sense of mourning, the paranormal, the dynamics of friends, and the intensity of racing against a sinister unknown affecting each of them.

The creative contributors are from the Johnstown, Pennsylvania area.  The art and story are by K. Brandon Wilt.  Scripting is by Jay Heptner.  Coloring on chapters 1 through 10 is done by Christopher Rehner.  Lettering is by Kurt Hathaway.
