SLIPKNOT’s Corey Taylor Wrote a Horror Movie

Most horror fans know Corey Taylor as the pyro-psychotic vocalist for the nightmarish outfit Slipknot (where he’s often referred to as Number Eight). The band had a fantastic 2019, touring in support of their latest studio album, We Are Not Your Kind. But Taylor is more than just a hard rocker; he’s appeared in some notable horror flicks.

Though he’s donned many terrifying and unnerving masks for his onstage antics over the years, he went latex-free for a role in Fear Clinic, where he appeared alongside genre icon Robert England and Fiona Dourif (Cult of ChuckyCurse of Chucky). Taylor also had a bit-part as Frankie in Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens, although at this rate, everyone with an IMDb page will have appeared in a Sharknado movie by the end of the decade!

Now, we’re getting word that Taylor is hoping to go behind the camera; he’s written a horror movie screenplay! According to Rolling Stone, he states:

“I’m actually working on a movie right now. I finished a script and I’m aggressively looking for investors and producers. I’ve got all this stuff that I still want to get out of my system.”

We’d love to help you get it out of your system, Corey! Keep us all in the loop!
