Brahms: The Boy II centers on a young family who moves into the infamous Heelshire Mansion, unaware of its terrifying history. Once there, their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.
William Brent Bell directs from a script by Stacey Menear, who wrote the original. Matt Berenson, Gary Lucchesi, Tom Rosenberg, Jim Wedaa, Eric Reid, Roy Lee, and Richard S. Wright produce.
It stars Katie Holmes as Liza, Ralph Ineson as Joseph, Anjali Jay as Dr. Lawrence, Owain Yeoman as Sean, Christopher Convery as Jude, Natalie Moon as Pamela, and Fabio William as Brahms.
Brahms: The Boy II crawls inside the walls of your local multiplex on February 21, 2020.
The first film followed Lauren Cohan who takes a job as a nanny for an 8-year-old boy in a remote English village. To her surprise, Cohan learns that the child of her new employers is a life-size doll. They care for the doll as if it was human, which helps the couple to cope with the death of their own son 20 years earlier. When Cohan violates a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring her worst fears to life, leading her to believe that the doll is alive.
