Epic, DREAD & Darkside Releasing Bring RED LETTER DAY to Canada 1/28

On January 28th the DREAD fans in Canada will be able to purchase the Red Letter Day Blu-ray (with an exclusive limited Canadian slipcover!) directly from darksidereleasing.com.

Synopsis:
While adjusting to a new life in a quiet suburban community, a recently divorced mother and her two teens receive mysterious red letters instructing them each to kill or be killed.

Horror Buzz calls Red Letter Day “Twilight Zone on steroids!”, a totally apt description of this wildly clever and dynamically pulse-pounding take on the classic “The Monsters are Due on Maple Street”, where a mother and her two teens receive mysterious red letters instructing them to kill or be killed – and they’re not the only ones on this quiet suburban block who have received these letters…

Writer-Director Cameron Macgowan has a background producing arthouse films with North Country Cinema, most notably for the 2014 TIFF selection The Valley Below. However, horror has always been his true love and passion. Red Letter Day features supporting actors Roger LeBlanc, who also co-stars in famed horror-exploitation director Herschell Gordon Lewis’ last film, Bloodmania (also available from Darkside Releasing), and Tiffany Helm, from Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning.

Red Letter Day is an extremely personal film for me – it feels funny admitting this when discussing a film about murderous suburbanites, but this odd little beast is fill of my loves, my obsessions, and my satirical POV during an extremely strange and divided time in our world,” says director Macgowan.

Red Letter Day will be available in Canada on Blu-ray on Tuesday, January 28th, from https://darksidereleasing.com. Check out the trailer embedded at the top of the article!
