Michael Myers Actor: HALLOWEEN KILLS Is “HALLOWEEN On Speed”

Blumhouse’s Halloween Kills recently held its first (positive) test screening for an audience of around 200 moviegoers. And today Michael Myers actor/stuntman James Jude Courtney teases the sequel is like “Halloween on speed.”

Specifically, James Jude Courtney tells Pop Culture With Pat: “We have to make the natural progression from 1978 to 2018 to Halloween Kills – the ante has to be upped. The ticking bomb has to be more intense. Otherwise, we’re just doing what we’ve done before. We pumped up the volume on this one. We’ve progressed late into the night, and now that everybody realizes what the stakes are…it’s reaching a head. It’s [Halloween 2018] on speed.”

Halloween Kills is directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Jason Blum, Malek Akkad, and Bill Block. David Gordon Green wrote the script with Danny McBride and Scott Teems. The music will be provided by John Carpenter. Halloween Kills started filming back on September 16, 2019 and wrapped on November 3, 2019. Universal Pictures unleashes it on October 16, 2020.

Halloween Ends is all set to hit on October 15, 2021.
