ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK? Season 2 In The Works
Nickelodeon’s Are You Afraid of the Dark? revival series aired in three parts last October and was a success with each episode ranking as the most co-viewed show on TV each week.
And today Deadline reports that Nickelodeon has renewed the killer kid-friendly horror anthology series for a second season! ACE Entertainment (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before) will return to produce, with ACE founder Matt Kaplan and Spencer Berman serving as executive producers.

Written by Ben David Grabinski (Skiptrace) and directed by Dean Israelite (Power Rangers, Project Almanac), the three-episode hourlong limited series introduced an entirely new Midnight Society group of kids who tell a terrifying tale about the Carnival of Doom and its evil ringmaster Mr. Top Hat, only to witness the shocking story come frightfully to life.

The cast included IT: Chapter Two and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween star Jeremy Taylor along with Lyliana Wray, Sam Ashe Arnold, Miya Cech, Tamara Smart, and Rafael Casal.
The limited series was produced by ACE Entertainment with Grabinski and Israelite serving as executive producers with ACE founder Matt Kaplan and Spencer Berman.
