Spoiler Alert: TERRIFIER 2 Returning Cast, New Female Lead + Connection to Staten Island Clown
If you’re the kind of person who likes to see a movie knowing as little as possible beforehand, then avoid the video embedded at the top of the article at all costs! If you’d like to hear some tasty spoilers about the sequel to 2018’s Terrifier, then, by all means, press “Play” at the top of the article!
Terrifier writer/director Damien Leone and Art the Clown actor David Howard Thornton participated in a panel at Astronomicon earlier this month, where they dished details about Terrifier 2‘s returning cast and new female lead.
Another nugget that came out of the panel is the connection between Art the Clown and “The Staten Island Clown” who went viral after spooking locals in 2014. It turns out the stunt was pulled by Terrifier producer (and actor) Michael Leavy (he played Will the Electrician!). Ironically, this was not an intentional tie-in with Terrifier. Just a funny coincident (funny like a clown, I suppose).
Terrifier 2 is nearing the end of production. Hopefully, a trailer and a release date will be announced soon. Stay tuned and check back often for all Terrifier-related news as details emerge!
