CW’s THE LOST BOYS Pilot Reboot Casts New Lucy Emerson
Another pilot based on Joel Schumacher’s classic vampire flick The Lost Boys is in the works at The CW. And today we hear Rochelle Aytes (see below in Trick ‘R Treat) has joined the cast.
Deadline reports that Aytes will play a version of Dianne Wiest’s Lucy Emmerson from the original film. This new character, Jackie, is described as the single mother of Garrett and Levi, who move back to the North Carolina seaside town she abandoned more than 20 years ago. Now she returns to take over her dad’s bed and breakfast, and rekindle an old high school flame.
This news comes on the heels of the series snagging its main cast with Branden Cook (Industry), Lincoln Younes (Grand Hotel), and Ruby Cruz (Castle Rock). Cook plays Garrett, a version of Jason Patric’s Michael from the original movie with Younes as Benjamin (a version of Kiefer Sutherland’s David), and Cruz plays Elsie (Jami Gertz’s Star).

This CW version will center on a mother and her Gen Z sons who move to the seaside town where she grew up and discover there’s a sinister reason the local cool kids sleep all day, party all night, never grow up and never get old.
