Trailer & Stunning Poster for Ocean-Set Infection Horror SEA FEVER
Sea Fever is an ocean-set infection horror movie that made waves on the film festival circuit in 2019; it was one of my favorites to screen at Fantastic Fest in Austin last September. Now, genre fans across the country will have an opportunity to catch the infection when Sea Fever arrives in select theaters and VOD platforms on April 10th. Give the trailer a spin at the top of the article; check out the synopsis and poster below.
Synopsis:
Siobhán’s a marine biology student who prefers spending her days alone in a lab. She has to endure a week on a ragged fishing trawler, where she’s miserably at odds with the close-knit crew. But out in the deep Atlantic, an unfathomable life form ensnares the boat. When members of the crew succumb to a strange infection, Siobhán must overcome her alienation and anxiety to win the crew’s trust, before everyone is lost.
Sea Fever is directed by Neasa Hardiman and stars Hermione Corfield, Connie Nielsen, and Dougray Scott. Epic Pictures in Dread Central’s parent company.
