JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION Filming Shut Down

Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World: Dominion with feature Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard along with Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern as Ellie Sattler, Sam Neill as Alan Grant, and Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm returning as well.

It will roam freely into theaters on June 11, 2021.

And today we hear via Deadline that Universal Pictures is ramping down production on the film in wake of coronavirus. A Disney spokesperson said: “While there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 on our productions, after considering the current environment and the best interests of our cast and crew, we have made the decision to pause production on some of our live-action films for a short time. We will continue to assess the situation and restart as soon as feasible.”

A statement released by the studio reads: “The studio continues to monitor the situation closely and will make a determination on when to restart production in the coming weeks.”

We’ll keep you up to date.
