Netflix Cancels Steve Niles’ OCTOBER FACTION
Netflix and Damian Kindler’s TV series adaptation of Steve Niles and Damien Worm’s comic book October Faction hit the streaming giant earlier this year. And today, THR reports Netflix has cancelled the series after one season.

October Faction follows the story of globetrotting monster hunters Fred and Deloris Allen who, after the death of Fred’s father, return to their hometown in upstate New York with their teenage children Geoff and Viv. As the family adjusts, Fred and Deloris must hide their identities as members of a secret organization, and our heroes quickly discover that their new small-town setting isn’t as idyllic as it seems.
It stars Tamara Taylor as Deloris Allen, J.C. MacKenzie as Fred Allen, Aurora Burghart as Viv Allen, Gabriel Darku as Geoff Allen, and Maxim Roy as Alice Harlow. Wendy Crewson co-stars along with Megan Follows and Stephen McHattie.
It was created by Damian Kindler based on the comic book by Steve Niles and Damien Worm. Executive producers are Damian Kindler, James Thorpe, Steve Niles, Thomas Walden, Eric Birnberg, George Strayton, and Melissa Blake. John Calvert and Mohamad El Masri produce.
