Rumors: GODZILLA VS KONG Plot Leaks Tease Epic 5-Minute Final Battle, Kong Beard & More

Yeah … So … a bunch of Godzilla vs. Kong rumors have appeared online via Comic Book News.

Not sure how much of this can be true. It was posted yesterday so MAYBE it’s not an April Fool’s Day prank… But all the same, I’ll just leave them below.

Warning: Possible Spoilers

  • Godzilla is near 400 feet in height and heavier than Kong.
  • Godzilla will have cool new powers in the flick, but no details are presently known.
  • Kong has a stone ax that he uses as a weapon.
  • Kong’s home is at the center of the world with sufficient radiation.
  • Kong has no “superpowers” but has brute force and speed
  • Kong is now older and quite powerful and even wounds Godzilla with his stone ax
  • Kong is brown in color with a stronger body and a smaller head;
  • Kong has more fur, might even have a beard.
  • Kong is closer to 300 feet in height
  • The climax of the movie is an “epic” battle said to last for a full five minutes
  • Godzilla looks like a beast and is very violent.

Again, SUPPOSEDLY all of this is true… But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, won’t we?

Godzilla vs. Kong is directed by Adam Wingard from a screenplay written by Terry Rossio based on Godzilla by Toho and King Kong by Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper. Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, and Brian Rogers produce. It stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, Zhang Ziyi, and Demián Bichir. The clash of the titans hits theaters on November 20, 2020.
