Live-Streamed Q&A with Filmmakers from Horror-Comedy EXTRA ORDINARY Friday 4/17
Anomaly – Rochester Genre Film Festival + The Little Theatre have partnered to host a virtual Q&A with the filmmakers of the paranormal romantic comedy Extra Ordinary. Writers/directors Mike Ahern and Enda Loughman and lead actress Maeve Higgins will discuss the making of the film this Friday, April 17th at 6 pm EDT, moderated by Anomaly’s co-founder and Anomaly Presents podcast host Matt Knotts.
The Q&A will be hosted via Facebook Live on Anomaly’s Facebook Page. The virtual event is free, open to the public, and viewers are encouraged to join the live chat and submit questions throughout the conversation.
Viewers are also encouraged to RSVP on the Facebook Event to be automatically entered to win free spooky prizes, including a Ghosted Sticker Pack by Erich Lehman of 1975 Gallery, and a glow-in-the-dark skull shirt designed by illustrator Meghan Murphy of Murphypop.
Extra Ordinary won the Audience Award for “Best Feature Film” at Anomaly’s inaugural festival this past November. The film is now streaming at The Virtual Little, thanks to Cranked Up Films and Kino Lorber’s “Kino Marquee” initiative, which is helping art house theaters across the United States during the COVID-19 crisis. A portion of every sale at The Virtual Little goes directly to help The Little Theatre—a five-screen art-house theater, in continuous operation since 1929, and dedicated to showcasing independent American and international films—while its doors are closed.

Synopsis:
Following a tragic accident in her past, sweet, mild-mannered Rose (Maeve Higgins) turned her back on her supernatural talents to focus on her job as a small-town driving instructor. But when desperate Martin (Barry Ward) contacts Rose to help save his daughter from the clutches of a past-his-prime rock star (Will Forte) who’s made a pact with the Devil to regain his fame, she must tap into those abilities once again. And just maybe save the whole world in the process.
