THE BATMAN With Robert Pattinson Will Now Open Against Blumhouse’s HALLOWEEN ENDS
Well, it looks like Cloverfield director Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been moved from it’s planned June 25, 2021 release date and will now be unleashed into theaters on October 1, 2021.
For those of you keeping score at home, this means the new Dark Knight flick will be in competition with Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green’s third and final entry in their Halloween reboot, Halloween Ends, which is set to open two weeks later on October 15th.
Might as well just switch the title to Batman: The Long Halloween, amirite?

Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block produce while John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and Ryan Freimann are executive producers. Ryan Turek is overseeing the project for Blumhouse.
