Rob Savage has scared the absoulte sh*t out of some co-workers on a Zoom call using footage from Jaume Balaguero & Paco Plaza’s found footage classic [REC].

It’s as killer as you might imagine.

For those that don’t know, [REC] centers on a late-night TV host Angela and her cinematographer are following the fire service on a call to an apartment building, but the Spanish police seal off the building after an old woman is infected by a virus which gives her inhuman strength.

It sports an 89% rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Plunging viewers into the nightmarish hellscape of an apartment complex under siege, [Rec] proves that found footage can still be used as an effective delivery mechanism for sparse, economic horror.
