Here it is Wednesday evening, and we’re already depressed that there’s no “The Vampire Diaries” or “Supernatural” to look forward to tomorrow and Friday (or “The Secret Circle” to roll our eyes at). But at least we can look ahead to the end of the month and new episodes!

Below are synopses for “The Vampire Diaries” Episode 3.20, “Do Not Go Gentle” (yay! another school dance episode!); “The Secret Circle” Episode 1.20, “Traitor”; and the highly anticipated “Supernatural” Episode 7.20, “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo”, with guest star Felicia Day.

The Vampire Diaries“The Vampire Diaries” Episode 3.20 “Do Not Go Gentle” (4/26/12 Air Date; 8:00-9:00 PM):
WHAT THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER — Alaric (Matt Davis) finds an unexpected ally to guide him on his dangerous new path while Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Meredith (guest star Torrey Devitto) try to figure out what their next move should be.

At the school’s 1920s Decade Dance, Bonnie (Kat Graham) asks Jamie (guest star Robert Ri’chard) to go with her, and, at Caroline’s (Candice Accola) suggestion, Elena (Nina Dobrev) asks Stefan (Paul Wesley) to be her date.

Caroline is pleasantly surprised when Tyler (Michael Trevino) shows up at the dance determined to sweep her off her feet, but Klaus (Joseph Morgan) does his best to come between them.

The dance takes a deadly turn when Damon and Stefan realize they need the help of Matt (Zach Roerig), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), and especially Bonnie to undo a spell that could prove devastating for everyone.

Josh Butler directed the episode written by Michael Narducci.

The Secret Circle“The Secret Circle” Episode 1.20 “Traitor” (4/26/12 Air Date; 9:00-10:00 PM):
THE CIRCLE DOES MAGIC TO FIND THE REMAINING CRYSTALS — When a crystal is magically stolen from the abandoned house, the Circle decides it was the traitor witch working with Eben (guest star Sammi Rotibi) so Jake (Chris Zylka) calls for a meeting with Isaac (guest star JR Bourne) to see if they can get him to change sides.

Cassie’s (Britt Robertson) loose grasp on her dark magic threatens to destroy any possible alliance when their pursuit of the traitor leads them to the “Creepiest Place on Earth.”

Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jake (Chris Zylka) work together to steal Dawn’s (Natasha Henstridge) crystal while Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) and Adam (Thomas Dekker) pair up and uncover a new magic trick.

Meanwhile a frustrated Diana (Shelley Hennig) reaches out to Charles (Gale Harold) for help.

Eagle Egilsson directed the episode written by Roger Grant and Katie Wech.

Supernatural“Supernatural” Episode 7.20 “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo” (4/27/12 Air Date; 9:00-10:00 PM):
FELICIA DAY (“THE GUILD,” “EUREKA”) GUEST STARS — Dick Roman (James Patrick Stuart) acquires Frank’s hard drive that contains sensitive information about the Winchesters and gives it to an unsuspecting brilliant hacker named Charlie (guest star Day), telling her she has 48 hours to crack the firewall or she is fired.

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are tipped off that Dick has the hard drive and race to get to Charlie before she breaks the code.

Meanwhile Bobby (Jim Beaver) tries to help the brothers, but his rage towards Dick for killing him starts to get in the way.

John MacCarthy directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson.
