New Quibi Anthology HORROR ACCIDENTAL Presents Horror in Everyday Situations
Divergent, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Tomb Raider screenwriter Evan Daugherty was recently announced to pen Sony’s big-budget reboot of the 90s creature feature Anaconda.
And today we hear that he will also write and direct an all-new “terrifyingly addictive” horror anthology series for the new short-form streaming platform Quibi called Horror Accidental.

Based on the Japanese series, it will center around everyday situations normal people find themselves in and the horrific possibilities that lurk around every corner in our modern world.
It’s produced by Alter and Scoop Productions. Alter’s Van Toffler and Cody Zwieg are executive producers. Fuji TV and Amuse Group USA also exec produce. The original was produced by Fuji Television Network and was written by Koichiro Miki, Mitsuaki Imura, and Kenta Ihara.
