Danny DeVito Plays The Devil in New FX Animated Series LITTLE DEMON with Aubrey Plaza

FX has ordered a new half-hour animated comedy series called Little Demon starring Danny DeVito, his daughter Lucy DeVito and Aubrey Plaza. Production is set to begin next week.

Rick & Morty and Community co-creator Dan Harmon is executive producing.

Created by Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner, and Kieran Valla, the series begins 13 years after being impregnated by the Devil (Danny DeVito), a reluctant mother (Plaza) and her Antichrist daughter (Lucy DeVito) attempt to live an ordinary life in Delaware, but are constantly thwarted by monstrous forces, including Satan, who yearns for custody of his daughter’s soul.

Sounds like fun to me!

DeVito’s Jersey Films 2nd Avenue, ShadowMachine, and FX Productions are producing. Harmon executive produces with Fowler, Kirschner, Valla, Plaza, and Jersey Films 2nd Avenue’s Jake, Lucy, and DeVito, and ShadowMachine’s Monica Mitchell, Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley.

Steve Levy (Stranger Things) serves as a producer on the project.
