RIP: JURASSIC WORLD Star Irrfan Khan Passes Away at 53
Jurassic World star Irrfan Khan died Wednesday at the age of 53.
Khan had been diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine tumor — an abnormal growth that begins in the body’s specialized neuroendocrine cells. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on 28 April 2020, where he started receiving treatment for a colon infection. He died the following day from the infection, four days after his mother’s death.
He leaves behind a wife Sutapa Sikdar and two sons, Babil and Ayan.
Khan’s PR agency, Hardly Anonymous Communications said in a statement: “It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away. Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him.”
