ANTEBELLUM With Janelle Monáe Will Now Be Released In August

Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz’s Antebellum with Janelle Monáe was set to hit last month but was delayed due to the coronavirus. And today we hear it will now hit on August 21, 2020.

Antebellum is written and directed by Gerard Bush & Christopher Renz, who also produce alongside Zev Forman, Raymond Mansfield, Sean McKittrick, and Lezlie Wills.  It stars Janelle Monáe with Eric Lange, Jena Malone, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Robert Aramayo, Lily Cowles, Marque Richardson, and London Boyce.

The movie centers on successful author Veronica Henley (Janelle Monáe) who finds herself trapped in a nightmarish reality and must find a way to break free of the horrors at hand.
