THE NEW MUTANTS Still Planned for Theatrical Release
Last week, The Stand director Josh Boone’s X-Men horror movie The New Mutants became available for digital pre-order on Amazon. And then it was removed. Weak. And today we hear the plan is still for the comically long-delayed film to hit theaters..
THR reports: “NEW MUTANTS SPARKED a frenzy when it briefly was listed on Amazon this week, only to be pulled hours later. The PVOD preorder listing was apparently a mistake, with Amazon’s system automatically including it based on the film’s previous April release date pre-pandemic shutdown. Sources say the long-delayed X-Men film is still planned for a theatrical release.”
