Lucky McKee’s THE WOMAN With Pollyanna McIntosh Hits Limited Edition VHS This Month

Broke Horror Fan will be unleashing director Lucky McKee’s The Woman with Pollyanna McIntosh, Angela Bettis, and Lauren Ashley Carter on limited edition, fully-functional VHS later this month.

The movie arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with artwork by Vanessa McKee. Each tape includes an exclusive introduction by actress Lauren Ashley Carter and letters from Lucky McKee and producer Andrew van den Houten, plus special features after the movie.

For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It is officially licensed from Arrow Films and has been approved by director Lucky McKee.

Rated R for strong bloody violence, torture, a rape, disturbing behavior, some graphic nudity, and language, the film centers on family man and lawyer Christoper Cleek (Sean Bridgers) must do what he can to protect his family when he comes into contact with a feral woman (Pollyana McIntosh) living in the woods near his isolated country home. Through a series of harrowing encounters Cleek and his family quickly discover there is more to this woman than anyone would suspect and that sometimes the devil wears a handsome face.

It sports a 72% on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Strange, audacious, and aggressive, The Woman is an uneven horror flick that game viewers with a wildly bloody finale.
