Last week Lucifer and his carnies embarked on an ambitious six-week long road show and musical extravaganza celebrating Darren Lynn Bousman’s latest directorial effort, The Devil’s Carnival, which encompasses 37 different cities on its now in progress US/Canada tour.
The Devil’s Carnival (review here) Road Show features burlesque performances as well as a multimedia presentation before each screening and has been thrilling sold-out audiences since its debut on April 5th.
During the Los Angeles premiere of The Devil’s Carnival on the 5th, Dread Central hit the red carpet and had the opportunity to chat with many of the flick’s stars, including Lucifer himself, Terrance Zdunich (who also penned the script and co-wrote the music with Saar Hendelmen), Paul Sorvino, Briana Evigan, Bill Moseley, Sean Patrick Flanery, Dayton Callie, M. Shawn Crahan (“Clown” from Slipknot), Nivek Ogre (“Ogre” from Skinny Puppy) and associate producer Spooky Dan Walker.
Following the premiere, DC also headed out for The Devil’s Carnival events in both Anaheim and San Diego and brought back all sorts of good stuff from the whole weekend of festivities.
Check out our video coverage from several of the first stops on this unique road show experience below, and look for more exclusive interviews with the cast of The Devil’s Carnival coming soon right here at Dread Central!
