Jake Gyllenhaal Will Star In & Produce Thriller Based on Graphic Novel SNOW BLIND
Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler, Prisoners) will star in and produce a new thriller based on Ollie Masters and Tyler Jenkins’ graphic novel Snow Blind.
Patrick Ness (Chaos Walking, A Monster Calls) will write the script which is described as a cross between Prisoners and Running on Empty and centers on a boy who discovers that his family is in the witness protection program.
Gyllenhaal will reteam with The Guilty director Gustav Möller on the film and produce along with Riva Marker, Ross Richie, Stephen Christy, and Adam Yoelin.
Gyllenhaal recorded a video pitch for this adaptation, granting interested parties follow-up meetings on Zoom. Multiple streamers and studios have already bidded on the film, so a distributor should be announced soon. Stay tuned.
