Brutal Trailer For Canadian Home Invasion Thriller FOR THE SAKE OF VICIOUS
An extremely brutal trailer for the upcoming Canadian home invasion thriller For the Sake of Vicious has made its way online, and can be viewed below alongside the official poster. The film will explore how far people are willing to go to protect what belongs to them, with an innocent nurse named Romina being forced to resort to extreme measures to defend her home from hoards of criminals.
As we can see from the incredibly violent trailer, nobody will be safe once Romina decides to fight back against her tormentors. The story also takes place on Halloween, which explains why most of the villains in the trailer are wearing costumes. It seems like For the Sake of Vicious will be Canada’s answer to The Purge franchise, and it will clearly be just as ruthless.
Romina is played by Lora Burke, who is already a recognisable face in the horror genre, as she previously starred in the title role in Poor Agnes as well as appearing in Lifechanger. Meanwhile, For the Sake of Vicious also stars Nick Smyth, T.J. Kennedy, Colin Paradine, Nick Spartan, and Boris Milinkovich. It was directed by Gabriel Carrer and Reese Eveneshen, who also both wrote the screenplay, and it will be released in Canada by Raven Banner Entertainment at some point in the near future. Sadly, there’s currently no word on US distribution, but we hope to hear more soon. In the meantime, you can follow the film on Facebook for regular updates from the production team.
