Written by Shadow Writer Paul Kane and starring Paul T. Taylor who played Pinhead in Hellraiser: Judgment, The Torturer is a short film produced by Little Spark Films. Check out the trailer and poster and read more about the film below.

Synopsis:
A man is interrogated for information he can’t recall, but there’s more to the mystery than meets the eye. As the torment he endures get worse, it becomes clear that something else is going on behind the scenes.

“We are strongly influenced by the works and art of one Clive Barker,” director Joe Manco explains. “This movie clocked at 39:56 has been a labor of love since the script was presented to us.”

This film adaptation was produced by DFW based production team, Little Spark Films. Starring Paul T. Taylor (Hellraiser: Judgment, Sin City, Super) and Lawrence Varnado (Breaking Bad, Friday Night Lights), this picture represents the true torture of independent filmmaking. With only 5 days available, a ton of moving parts, obstacles coming from every which a way, this team managed to run a smooth set and gather total coverage.

We don’t have a release date for The Torturer at this time, but we’ll keep you posted, so stay tuned and check back often!
