See The Mummy: Resurrected in this Teaser Trailer

Don’t panic. Stephen Sommers hasn’t made another Mummy movie. The Mummy: Resurrected is a new low budget creature feature designed to be in the vein of the classic Universal mummy movies of old.
But just between you and me, it kind of looks like something The Asylum would have produced nearly a decade ago.
It was almost two years ago when Halycon International Pictures announced a slate of films based on classic horror characters under the “Famous Monsters of Filmland” banner. Something must have fallen through with the makers of the magazine that also bears that title because the slate of films was redubbed the “Still Night Monster Movies Series”.
The first film in the series is Dracula: Reborn. We first brought you that trailer nearly a year-and-a-half ago. The movie still doesn’t have an IMDB page. It does have screening dates at the Cannes Film Festival this year so with any hope it will finally get released somewhere.
But what of the second film in the series, The Mummy: Resurrected?
Synopsis:
The second film in the STILL NIGHT MONSTER MOVIE SERIES, THE MUMMY: RESURRECTED, is based on the Bram Stoker novel JEWEL OF THE SEVEN STAR. The story revolves around a team of archaeologists who discover an ancient mummy, releasing it from its eternal tomb.
No IMDB page for it either. Not much of any information. Couldn’t tell you who wrote it, directed it, or even stars in it aside from it featuring an actress named Bailey Gaddis, and the only reason I know that is because she appears to be the one who posted the trailer on YouTube.
Halcyon International Pictures’ website claims the third movie in the series is currently in pre-production. The Creature Returns looks to give the classic 1950’s gillman a 21st century makeover.
Will either of the other two “Still Night” monster movies actually see the light of day before the creature resurfaces? Will they ever get IMDB pages?
