Ron Howard Very Optimistic About Disney+ WILLOW Sequel Series

Willow director Ron Howard says that while the upcoming Willow 2 Disney+ series has not been officially greenlit, it is in active development and writer Jonathan Kasdan (Solo: A Star Wars Story) is currently working on the scripts and he’s very optimistic about it.

Howard tells Radio Andy: “I was in a two-hour story meeting last night. The writer Jon Kasdan is leading the charge. They have a great group of writers and it’s in very active development. The scripts are going great. So, they have to get through the season and the budget. And so forth, there’s no green light there yet, but I’m very optimistic about it.”
