Radio Silence’s SCREAM 5 Adds Melissa Barrera

Spyglass Media and Paramount’s Scream 5 has added its first new cast member in the form of Melissa Barrera (In The Heights, Vida).

Barrera joins a cast which includes David Arquette, Courteney Cox, and (maybe) Neve Campbell. Additional casting is underway on the flick which starts shooting in Wilmington, North Carolina this fall.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) direct from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt (Amazing Spider-Man) and Guy Busick (Castle Rock). Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella, are executive producing with Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak producing.
