The World is Out of Wack in Full Trailer for Giant Fly Horror-Comedy MANDIBLES

In July, we shared a short as hell teaser for Mandibles, the next movie from French filmmaker/musician Quentin Dupieux (Rubber). All we saw was a giant fly drinking out of a swimming pool!

Synopsis:
Two simple-minded friends discover a giant fly in the trunk of a car and decide to domesticate it to earn money with it.

French comedy duo Grégoire Ludig and David Marsais co-star as two goofy friends who find a giant fly in trapped in their car boot and decide to train it as a moneymaking venture. Adèle Exarchopoulos, Coralie Russier and India Hair as well as Belgian rapper and hip hop artist Romeo Elvis join them in the cast.

It is Dupieux’s ninth feature after the off-beat Jean Dujardin horror-comedy Deerskin which opened Directors’ Fortnight in 2019.

Mandibles will premiere tomorrow as part of the Venice International Film Festival.
