NEWS
The Dillinger Escape Plan posted a blog explaining that they are done with their current album cycle and are figuring out the next step.

Century Media Records has signed the New Hampshire-based black metal band Vattnet Viskar.

Hatebreed are currently in the studio self-producing their new album with co-producer assistance from Josh Wilbur and Chris “Zeuss” Harris. Says frontman Jamey Jasta, “This album is so heavy, it’s irresponsible.”

MUSIC
Stream Hawthorne Heights‘ new EP, Hope, here. It will be released on June 1 through their own Cardboard Empire. Who knew people still used Myspace?

Stream Phobia‘s new album, Remnants of Filth, here. The grindcore group’s fifth album will be released on June 5 via Willowtip.

Listen to a new Aerosmith song entitled “Legendary Child” here. It’s the first single from the band’s upcoming album Music From Another Dimension, which will be released on August 28.

Listen to a new Architects song entitled “Even If You Win, You’re Still A Rat” here. The track features guest vocals from Oli Sykes of Bring Me the Horizon. The band’s new album, Daybreaker, will be released on June 5 via Century Media Records.

Listen to Stray from the Path‘s cover of Rage Against the Machine‘s “Vietnow” here. The hardcore band will be releasing another cover this week.

Listen to a new The Overseer song entitled “Amend” here. The Christian band’s new album, We Search, We Dig, will be released on June 19 via Solid State Records.

Listen to a new The Agonist song entitled “Predator & Prayer” here. The extreme metal band’s new album, Prisoners, will be released on June 5 via Century Media Records.

Listen to a new Senses Fail song entitled “War Paint” here. It’s one of four new tracks that will be included with the band’s upcoming best of compilation, Follow Your Bliss, which comes out on June 19.

Listen to a new Nile song entitled “The Fiends Who Come to Steal the Magick of the Deceased” here. The death metal group’s new album, At the Gate of Sethu, will be released on June 29 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Listen to a new Defiler song entitled “Lucky 38” here. The hardcore band has signed to Razor & Tie and are currently working on a new album to be released later this year.

Watch a lyric video for Memphis May Fire‘s “Prove Me Right” here. The band’s new album, Challenger, will be released on June 26 via Rise Records.

Watch Mastodon‘s live video for “All the Heavy Lifting” here. It was filmed at their February 11 show at London’s Brixton Academy.
