Benson & Moorhead’s SYNCHRONIC Out October 23rd–But Filmmakers Issue Warning to Indoor Theatergoers
The 2019 festival hit Synchronic by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will be released in drive-in and indoor theaters on October 23rd. And while fans of the duos’ past films (like Spring and The Endless) may want to rush out to see it, they have a warning to indoor theatergoers: “Please adhere to all guidelines”.
Synopsis:
The lives of two paramedics in New Orleans are ripped apart after a series of horrific deaths are caused by a new designer drug.
Synchronic stars Jamie Dornan, Anthony Mackie, and Katie Aselton.

Benson released the following statement via Twitter; it notes that indoor movie theaters may still be contributing to the spread of COVID-19. Check it out:
While the tone is serious, it’s heartening to see filmmakers who care more about the health of their fans than box-office bucks. Remember, if you can’t see Synchronic safely at a drive-in theater, a VOD release is imminent.
