Gravitas Ventures Snags KILLER WEEKEND Releasing October 13th
Gravitas Ventures (Los Angeles, CA) has acquired the distribution for Blanc-Biehn Production’s new film, Killer Weekend, directed by Jamielyn Lippman (3 Years in Pakistan: The Erik Aude Story, When the Bough Breaks, Hollywood Trick, Hollywood Gamble). The film is now available for pre-order on iTunes and will be distributed on VOD beginning October 13th.
The film stars Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator), Alex Urbom (Westworld, Masters of Sex), Vanessa Zima (Manson Girls, House), and Andy Davoli (The Sopranos, Knockaround Guys).
Killer Weekend is a thriller about a young LA girl named Kimberly (Vanessa Zima) who’s enjoyed a lavish lifestyle thanks to a “dating app”. With help from a low
life insurance agent, Fred (Alex Urbom) they come up with a way to scheme even more money from these men. Everything goes according to plan until she falls in love with Ted (Andy Davoli) who happens to be a serial killer. The film also features Jennifer Blanc and Michael Biehn.
Killer Weekend is written by Travis Romero, a story by Lony Ruhmann. Michael Biehn and Jen Blanc-Biehn serve as Executive Producers.
