Premiering today as part of Fantastic Fest’s 2020 virtual slate, Jill Gevargizian’s The Stylist is poised to become a breakout hit! Based on Gevargizian’s short film of the same name, The Stylist stars Najarra Townsend and Brea Grant.

Synopsis:
A hairstylist with a deadly double life spirals out of her meticulous routine when her client’s wedding day brings more stress than she can handle.

“Najarra Townsend was really with me this whole journey, reading every draft we wrote, she’s been a huge part of the film, way beyond playing the character,” Gevargizian told Entertainment Weekly. “Brea’s character exudes brightness and energy and that’s what I think of when I think of Brea. Brea and Najarro in these roles are like mirrored opposites, which was my intention from the beginning.”
