Kat Von D’s Wonderland Gallery Hosting Viva Vampira Photo Exhibit Livestream Tonight (June 15)!

We love our dark ladies, and they don’t come much darker than Maila “Vampira” Nurmi, a true horror trailblazer. Kat Von D’s Wonderland Gallery in West Hollywood is celebrating the career of the genre icon with Viva Vampira, a photo exhibit of the actress, tonight (June 15).
Even if you’re nowhere near Southern California, you can still enjoy the event live via streaming video on CoffinTV from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm PT.
Viva Vampira, sponsored by Coffin Case, Wonderland Gallery and Stickam, is being held one day before the world premiere of Vampira and Me, a film being entered in the Documentary Competition at the LA Film Festival. Viva Vampira is a pictorial celebration of the 1954 underground actress Vampira. The gallery show will be hosted at the Wonderland Gallery owned by artist Kat Von D There will be over 60 original photographs on exhibit, most of which have never been seen by the public until now. The photographs and art are from the personal archives of actress Maila “Vampira” Nurmi and the Coffin Collection owed by artist and collector Jonny Coffin.
