Teaser: Heather Langenkamp Fears Another Nighttime Stalker in COTTONMOUTH
Heather Langenkamp is best known to horror fans as the actress who portrayed Freddy Krueger’s “final girl” in A Nightmare on Elm Street, released in 1984. These days, however, she’s afraid of another nighttime stalker! Check her out in the teaser trailer for Cottonmouth, a short film currently making the rounds at festivals worldwide.
Synopsis:
A woman takes action once she’s sure that someone — or something — is sneaking into her room at night.
Cottonmouth also serves as a proof of concept for a full-length feature film. As of this posting, it’s been selected to screen at festivals like the New York City Horror Film Festival, iHorror Film Fest, Atlanta Horror Film Festival, and the Frightening Ass Film Fest among others. It also had its world premiere at the Popcorn Frights’ Drive-In Horrorshow, alongside Ten Minutes to Midnight (starring The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2’s Caroline Williams) and Jay Baruchel’s Random Acts of Violence.
Cottonmouth is co-written and co-directed by Danny Salemme and Zach Wincik.
