Screen Daily reports that Exhibit A Pictures, the outfit behind the new documentary The Life and Times of Paul the Psychic Octopus, is now stretching its tentacles into zombie land.

Director Alexandre O. Philippe has revealed that he is already at work on Doc of the Dead, a thorough new film that will explore zombies on screen in all their manifestations, with shooting currently under way. Philippe has already spoken to Shaun of the Dead‘s Simon Pegg for the film and is shortly to interview zombie guru George Romero (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, etc.) on camera.

And we discuss his latest work, the novel Residue: Paramentals Rising, which is a sequel to the Netflix show.
