The 2012 Toronto After Dark film fest isn’t happening until this October, but to help get you geared up for it, the powers-that-be are holding two special Summer Screening Nights at the Bloor Cinema on June 27th and July 11th featuring some of our favorite films.
First up on Wednesday, June 27th, is Cuba’s first ever zombie film, JUAN OF THE DEAD (at 7:00 pm), followed by THE PACT (at 9:45 pm).
Then return to the Bloor two weeks later on Wednesday, July 11th, to see twisted sci-fi/horror cult comedy DETENTION (at 7:00 pm) starring The Hunger Games‘ Josh Hutcherson, followed by the much anticipated Canadian premiere of V/H/S (at 9:45 pm).
Tickets to all screenings are $13, with discounts available to Bloor Hot Docs Cinema members ($11) or those buying double-feature film tickets ($22). But the real hot item right now is the Summer All-Access (4-Pack) Pass, which not only offers great savings at just $39 (4 movies for the price of 3) but also gives holders Priority Entrance to all summer screenings via the Passholders Line! With only 100 available, the Summer All-Access Pass is on its way to selling out!
See the complete film lineup, get box office info, and browse the films at the official Toronto After Dark website.
