Showrunner Wants At Least 5 Seasons Of THE BOYS
During a recent Q&A session with fans on Twitter, The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke revealed that he hopes the Amazon Prime Video series runs at least 5 seasons.
He says: “The rough idea in my head is five seasons total, but I also know better than to say how many seasons a show is going to have. My last show, Supernatural, I said five seasons for sure, and that f—er went 15. So, I’m mostly going to keep my mouth shut, but creatively, five feels like a good round number.”

The second season doubled season 1’s worldwide viewership in just two weeks. So Amazon has fast-tracked a spinoff series set at a college exclusively for superheroes. Described as an irreverent and R-rated, the series will explore the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games – with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys, the spin-off is written and executive produced by Craig Rosenberg who will serve as showrunner while Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen executive produce with Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, and Pavun Shetty.
