Exclusive Video Debut: “Black Pumpkin” by THE STONING

Adam Gierasch is a genre filmmaker know for helming the “Trick” Chapter of Tales of Halloween (2015) as well as others including Autopsy (2008) and Night of the Demons (2009). When he’s not making horror movies, he the lead vocalist for the band The Stoning and, today, Dread Central is thrilled to exclusively debut their video for “Black Pumpkin”!

The Stoning is a doom/sludge metal band with a love of horror. Drummer Scotty Slam is also in Circus of Power, and bassist Wendy Groovella has played in numerous horror punk bands. The Stoning is rounded out by guitarist Danny Lohner.

“Black Pumpkin” is the first single from their self titled first album. It’s a collaboration between Scotty Slam and Billy Baker with input from Adam Gierasch (of course he couldn’t resist.) “Black Pumpkin” is produced by Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle). The album and track artwork are by artist Clint Carney, who is also the singer/songwriter/keyboardist for the band SYSTEM SYN.
