THE BOYS Season 3 Starts Shooting Soon

The stellar second season The Boys just wrapped up on Amazon. And today, showrunner Eric Kripke confirmed that Season 3 will start shooting in early 2021.

Kripke shared a pic of the title page to the Season 3 premiere episode script, dubbed Payback, writing: “You’re Not Fucking Ready.”

Check out his post below.

The image reveals Craig Rosenberg pens the new episode. Rosenberg is responsible for a number of Season 2 episodes such as “Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men” and “Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker.”

The second season doubled season 1’s worldwide viewership in just two weeks. So Amazon has fast-tracked a spinoff series set at a college exclusively for superheroes. Described as an irreverent and R-rated, the series will explore the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games – with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys, the spin-off is written and executive produced by Craig Rosenberg who will serve as showrunner while Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen executive produce with Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, and Pavun Shetty.
