From the Press Release
PopCap Games, a division of EA and maker of some of the world’s most popular games, today announced that a zombie from the award-winning video game Plants vs. Zombies will enter the British 10K to raise money for SpecialEffect, the UK charity dedicated to helping young people with disabilities enjoy computer games and creative technologies.
The 12th annual British 10K takes place in London on Sunday July 8, and the zombie will join over 25,000 runners in a route that will take in some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, the London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Putting aside its fascination for ‘brainz’, the zombie will be shambling through London for charity and is looking for donations from the living, the undead… and yes, even plants.
You can visit the official Run Zombie Run website to show your support for the zombie by donating!
