Stephen King’s CHILDREN OF THE CORN Poster Reveals Reboot… Has Already Been Released?
Director Kurt Wimmer’s (Equilibrium, Ultraviolet) remake of Stephen King’s Children of the Corn has been slapped with an R-rating for “violence and bloody images.”
And today we have the poster … which says “every parent’s nightmare” has… already been released? Wait, what? I’m confused. Check it out below.
Liljas Library reports that last Friday the new Children of the Corn movie premiered in Sarasota. And it’s listed on Fandango. But theaters in my town are shut down. So I don’t know if it’s playing near you or what. Happy hunting and enjoy the poster.
The remake evidently revolves around a psychopathic twelve-year-old girl in a small town in Nebraska who recruits all the other children and goes on a bloody rampage, killing the corrupt adults and anyone else who opposes her. A bright high schooler who won’t go along with the plan, is the town’s only hope of survival.
Lucas Foster (Ford v Ferrari), Doug Barry, and John Baldecchi produce. Wimmer, Mathieu Bonzon, Donald P. Borchers, Pascal Borno, John Fragomeni, Brian LaRoda, Keri Nakamoto, Andre Gaines, and Sean Harner are executive producing.
