SYFY Airing NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Marathon Today

Looking for something to binge this afternoon? Well, our buddies over at SyFy have you covered with a marathon of five killer A Nightmare on Elm Street flicks.

The schedule goes like this:

  • 11:55 a.m. ET – Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare
  • 1:57 p.m. ET – A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child
  • 3:58 p.m. ET – A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
  • 6 p.m. ET – A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge
  • 8 p.m. ET – A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
  • 10 p.m. ET – A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge
  • 12 a.m. ET – A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
  • 2:02 a.m. ET – A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child

Yeah, you read that right. For some reason, it looks like the marathon doesn’t include director Chuck Russell and writer Frank Darabont’s A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. But, come on, it’s not like we don’t all owe it already.

All the same, Dream Warriors begins during a hallucinatory incident, young Kristen Parker has her wrists slashed by dream-stalking monster Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund). Her mother, mistaking the wounds for a suicide attempt, sends Kristen to a psychiatric ward, where she joins a group of similarly troubled teens. One of the doctors there is Nancy Thompson, who had battled Freddy some years before. Nancy senses a potential in Kristen to rid the world of Freddy once and for all.
