David Howard Thornton Revealed in Trailer for Star-Studded THE DARK OFFERINGS
We first reported on Marcus Slabine’s The Dark Offerings six months ago, as we were impressed by the cast (populated by serious horror icons). As the clock struck midnight, ushering in Halloween 2020, producers dropped a trailer revealing a “secret” cast member: None other than Terrifier‘s David Howard Thornton!
The Dark Offerings was filmed during quarantine abiding by all social distancing guidelines. Check out the trailer and read the full cast list below.
Synopsis:
Sophia Hapgood is thrust into a horrifying world after her brother James brings her into a fatal situation. He passes a demon to her that she must spread to others within 6 days or else they both die. Sophia must make a choice to save her brother or find a way to end the curse in this terrifying film called The Dark Offerings.
Marcus Slabine is a filmmaker whose latest, The Last Call (starring Terry Alexander and Lori Cardille from Day of the Dead), has been touring festivals, winning awards, and gaining praise for the past year. He’s a life long horror fan since he first saw Army of Darkness in the theaters.
Slabine wrote the screenplay with Elizabeth Piper S., an award-winning actress, producer, and special effects make up artist/beauty makeup artist who has worked on shows and films like Evil, Orange is the New Black, The Enemy Within and The Last Call.
