WRONG TURN Reboot Rated R for Strong Bloody Violence, Grisly Images & More
The Domestics director Mike P. Nelson’s Wrong Turn reboot is coming soon. And today we learned the film has been slapped with a (not surprising) R-rating via the MPAA for “strong bloody violence, grisly images, and pervasive language.”
Also, it seems the film’s called Wrong Turn not Wrong Turn: The Foundation.
Alan B. McElroy returns to pen the new film which follows a group of friends hiking the Appalachian Trail who are eventually confronted by a community of people who have lived in the mountains since before the Civil War.
The new film stars Matthew Modine (47 Meters Down), Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey at Night), Bill Sage (Hap and Leonard), Emma Dumont (The Gifted), Valerie Jane Parker, Chaney Morrow, and David Hutchinson. Dylan McTee will costar along with Adrian Favela, Adain Bradley, Jeremy Ambler, Cory Scott Allen, Gary Ray Stearns, Rhyan Elizabeth Hanavan, Vardaan Arora, Mark Mench, Joshua Stephen Campbell, Jennie Malone, Brian James Fitzpatrick, and Mark Angel.
