While at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con, Dread Central had the opportunity to catch up with first-time filmmaker and co-writer Jamie Bradshaw in anticipation of the September 7th release date of his upcoming dystopic thriller called Branded.

Also co-written and directed by Alexander Doulerain, Branded stars Ed Stoppard, Leelee Sobieski, Jeffrey Tambor, Ingeborga Dabkunaite and Max Von Sydow. During our chat with Bradshaw, he gave us an inside look at the world he co-created in Branded as well as more on his transition from the marketing world to the filmmaking world and what the future holds for him and his co-director Doulerain.

Check out our exclusive video interview with Bradshaw below, and look for Branded in theaters on September 7th courtesy of Roadside Attractions.

Synopsis
BRANDED is a dark and mind-bending journey into a surreal, dystopian society where corporate brands have unleashed a monstrous global conspiracy to get inside our minds and keep the population disillusioned, dependent, and passive. One man, Misha’s (Ed Stoppard), passion to unlock the truth behind the conspiracy will lead to an epic battle with the hidden forces that really control our world.

Scarred For Life
Episode 265: Novocaine Directors Dan Berk and Robert Olsen and Hellraiser (1987)
This week we're so excited to chat with Dan Berk and Robert Olsen! They are the writers/directors of Villains and Significant Other and their latest film, Novocaine is coming out Friday the 14th of March! We talk about making an action film where the character can't feel pain, inspirations and more. Then Terry HAD to talk to them briefly about one of the wild narrative shifts in Significant Other (Please go watch; it's on Paramount+). If you know Terry's love of a specific kind of horror, you might guess the part...and they share a WILD story about coming up with that sequence and then filming it. Then we go back to Hellraiser and find out why it was their Scarred for Life pick.Dan and Bobby are not on social media, but check out Novocaine on March 14th!Follow Mary Beth, Terry and the Podcast on Bluesky. Kim and Ket Stay Alive... Maybe
Ep. 343 Oddity, Part 1: “The Tale of the Woodm’n”
Ket tells Kim a movie that’s been on their list for a while and, to be clear, it does NOT star Brienne of Tarth. It does star a favorite Irish actor, Carolyn Bracken, along with a truly terrifying Woodm’n who isn’t even the biggest monster of the movie! Stay tuned for part 2 to find out who is… Writer/Dir.
