Most people know Jenna Dewan for the Step Up flicks, but we go with her all the way back to the little horror flick Tamara, where she proved she could get nuts with the best of them. Speaking of nuts…

THR reports that Jenna Dewan has joined the second season of FX’s anthology series “American Horror Story”, and will co-star opposite Maroon 5 and “The Voice”‘s Adam Levine, rounding out a pairing described as “The Lovers” in the sophomore season of the drama from “Glee” co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

Other Season 2 stars include Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Clea Duvall, James Cromwell, Mark Consuelos and Lizzie Brochere.

Set at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane, the upcoming season revolves around Jessica Lange’s new character — a nun — and her boss at the institution, played by James Cromwell.
