Time for your weekly dose of the paranormal as we have sneak peeks of next week’s episodes of “Destination Truth”, “Haunted Highway”, and “Paranormal Witness” on Syfy.
ABOUT “DESTINATION TRUTH” SEASON 5:
Following an incredible season of expeditions, including a voyage to Antarctica and a live episode in Ireland, world traveler Josh Gates will once again journey to the farthest corners of the earth to bring viewers all-new adventures on Syfy’s “Destination Truth”. In Season 5 Josh and his team will lead viewers into a remote Transylvanian village on a hunt for vampires, explore the reportedly haunted Mayan ruins of Tikal in Guatemala, and descend into one of the world’s biggest caves in the jungles of Vietnam to search for phantoms. They’ll also journey to Kazakhstan (a “Destination Truth” first). At the overwhelming request of fans, the team will also return to Romania for a return visit to a haunted forest, the site of their most terrifying investigation to date.
In addition to series host Gates, the team includes Erin Ryder, Field Investigator/Researcher; Gabe Copeland, Camera; Tony Gonzales, Tech Manager; Chris Lore, Case Manager; Allie Boettger, Audio; and Kyle Wheeler, Cameraman.
In the Tuesday, August 7th, episode “Vampire Monsters/Island of the Damned”, the team prepares for a harrowing trek through the back woods of Transylvania in search of a real-life vampire monster. It airs on Syfy at 9:00 PM.
ABOUT “HAUNTED HIGHWAY”:
The hour-long series follows two teams, Jack Osbourne & Dana Workman and Jael de Pardo & Devin Marble, as they do their own first-person investigations of the most frightening claims of paranormal activity along America’s remote back roads.
Fueled by eyewitness interviews and evidence collected with state-of-the-art equipment, the two teams will self-document their harrowing face-to-face encounters with the paranormal. The six-episode series features examinations and investigations that will take the teams off the beaten path in Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota, Arkansas, and Louisiana as they seek hellhounds, skin walkers, ghosts, and other paranormal phenomena.
In the Tuesday, August 7th, episode “Silver City Ghost Town/Shunka Warakin”, viewers will investigate an abandoned outpost and more paranormal happenings with Jack, Dana, Devin, and Jael. It airs on Syfy at 10:00 PM.
